As someone who knows firearms, I wonder if you could answer a question on distinguishing the deadliness of weapons. I’ve long wondered if one way we might distinguish assault weapons from others is by the highest possible muzzle energy of the bullets it’s capable of firing.

Could we even limit the muzzle energy of ammunition sold as a way of reducing the power of these weapons?

Does that sound like a valid approach to someone who knows guns?
